We talk about the genre of music called “extreme metal” and its characteristics, origins, and possible future direction. Also, we catalog and describe our individual band histories, chuckling at some of the poshlost and pretentious band names.
(After recording the episode and listening to it, I realized I’d left out a number of previous bands I’d been in. Who cares? Maybe I’ll bring them up when we do our 4-track cassette history episode ….)
